Job Title: Tasting Room Assistant
Hours: Part Time - Hourly (Schedule will vary and will require for you to work on Saturday, Sunday or both days every week.)
The Tasting Room Assistant (TRA) needs to offer excellent customer service, sales and communication skills. It will be vital for the TRA to have a flexible schedule, enabling him/her to support the Tasting Room Manager when needed. To better sell Leonesse Cellars product and accurately represent Leonesse Cellars should always be a high priority.
A Leonesse Cellars TRA values qualities such as friendliness and kindness and realizes that these play a vital role in upholding the Leonesse Cellars standard of customer service. It will always be important for the TRA to display these aforementioned qualities to customers and make them feel as comfortable as possible.
The Leonesse TRA is not a manager and will not be responsible for managing staff or the tasting facility. Rather, he/she is responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer service, meeting goals (as set out by management) and building the Leonesse Cellars brand, by accurate representation of the product and the organization.
Striving for excellence in creating and supporting “the perfect wine experience” should be of the highest priority.
Responsibilities and Duties: include the following:
• Provide excellent customer service to all Leonesse Cellars customers
• Meet goals as set out by Management
• Gain an accurate knowledge of Leonesse Cellars product and accurately represent the Leonesse Cellars
brand by presenting correct and current information
• Respect and support your coworkers and management. (A friendly, positive attitude goes a long way.)
• Learn to be very efficient on all cash register systems to better serve the customer
• Follow Tasting Room Opening and Closing procedure
• Restocking, organizing and cleaning of Tasting Room
• Setting up for any special event, including VIP Tasting/Special tasting or Events
• Accurately represent the Leonesse Cellars brand by presenting correct and current information
Workskills: Strong Sales and Customer Service related skills.
Experience: 1+ Year, Customer Service
Qualifications: Proficiency in MS Office Education: High School Diploma a plus.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 35 to 70 lbs occasionally.
Work Environment: Retail and Evening events.
